i have no pictures. we switched pools yesterday. i sat down with coach laura and removed both kids from the lake manassas swim team. forever. sometimes change happens like that. super fast. no time to think. just go with it. that's what happend.
we were blessed to have 3 great years there. however, it is time to move on and bless, and be blessed, somewhere else. sully station is our new pool. it's a good fit already.
after machine swim practice this morning, cj took the kids to macdonalds and then to sully station for swim practice with that team. when i arrived serveral hours later this is what i saw. remember, no pictures.
bryan playing wall ball with friends. and then cards. and then on some boy's d.s. eating donuts...and brooke hanging out with coach missy and cj. talking their ears off. making them laugh. they didn't need me. or want me. they were content. i almost cryed...but i held back.
i watched them from a distance, do their thing. when it was over, i gave them money, they got in coach matt's car, and he took them to the movies with the team.
changes. there's a lot more to come. i only hope my heart is ready.
who am i kidding?
i'm carrying tissues in my purse from now on.
